FAQs

WILL I NEED TO PREPARE ANYTHING FOR PRIVATE OMAKASE?

Please include any necessary instructions in your reservation to help us arrive safely and on time at your home.

We bring a complete kitchen setup, including a rice cooker, cutting boards, towels, dish soap, and essential tools, along with table settings such as Japanese plates, utensils, napkins, and placemats. After the course concludes, we ensure your space is left clean and tidy.

We kindly ask that the kitchen area — including the sink, stove, and island — be cleared prior to our arrival, and that beverages and glassware be provided for each guest.

 HOW LONG DOES THE OMAKASE LAST?

The duration may vary depending on the party size and the course selected.

We typically arrive approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled start time to prepare the kitchen and dining area, as well as to begin essential preparations, including cooking the rice and preparing the ingredients.

The Omakase experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours, followed by 30 to 45 minutes for cleanup.

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

We are unable to accommodate vegan or vegetarian requests for our Omakase experience.

For shellfish, dairy, or other allergies, accommodation may be possible depending on the specific course selected. We kindly ask that you contact us in advance to discuss any dietary restrictions, and we will do our best to advise you accordingly.

DO YOU OFFER A PARING SERVICE?

We are not currently offering a beverage pairing service.

However, we would be delighted to offer recommendations—such as premium Japanese sake or wine—that complement your selected Omakase course. Please feel free to consult with us in advance so we can help you create a harmonious pairing experience.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I MAKE A RESERVATION ?

Reservations are accepted beginning two months prior to your preferred event date. If you wish to book more than two months in advance, please feel free to contact us for further consultation.

To ensure we can source the freshest and highest-quality ingredients for your event, we kindly ask that you contact us at least two weeks in advance of your preferred date.

If your desired date is within one week, we may be able to accommodate your request in the event of a cancellation, subject to availability.

If you have a specific date in mind, we recommend reaching out as early as possible.

HOW CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION?

You can make a reservation by submitting the reservation form on our website, or by contacting us via text, email, or Instagram DM. Please provide the number of guests, event location, and your preferred course, so we can inform you of availability.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE FOR  PRIVATE OMAKASE?

We are based in the Dallas Fort Worth area but are able to travel to other cities in Texas, such as Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Amarillo, Tyler, and more. If you'd like to reserve Omakase outside the DFW area, please feel free to contact us via text, email, or Instagram DM for more details.
